In 1983, Morrish left the Nicklaus organization and formed a partnership with PGA Tour professional Tom Weiskopf.
The development provides a variety of amenities for guests and homeowners, including a Tom Weiskopf designed golf course, a 270 acre ecological reserve, a full-service marina, and a club house with a spa, family areas, adult & children’s pools, and full beach access.
In 1983, Heckenkemper joined the partnership of Tom Weiskopf and Jay Morrish, where he oversaw the construction of several high profile golf courses.
Weiskopf got into golf course design working initially with Jay Morrish, but now has his own established practice.
