After signing with Locomotive Records, Benedictum entered in the studio to record their debut album with production by Jeff Pilson and mixing by Pilson and former Warlock member Tommy Henriksen.
"A Gift," "Seven," and "Straight Jacket Labels" served as the band's first three demos produced by Tommy Henriksen and Jeff Tilson.
With the help of a new manager, John Zagata, they recorded three demo songs, "A Gift," "Seven," and "Straight Jacket Labels" with producers Tommy Henriksen and Jeff Pilson.
