Altmünster is a market town located about 3 kilometres south of Gmunden in Upper Austria, on the west shore of the Traunsee.
Ebensee is surrounded by three picturesque lakes, the Traunsee, the Offensee and the Langbathsee.
The tramway route runs entirely in the town, from the railway station to the central Franz-Josef-Platz on the Traunsee lake.
Most probably the second oldest passenger ship still in service (oldest probably Gisela, a paddle steamer on Traunsee, Austria)
It is a popular tourist destination, and its attractions include Schloss Ort, a medieval castle.
