Chris Uhlmann (born 1960), Australian television presenter and journalist
Gunther Alberto Uhlmann Arancibia (9 February 1952, Chile) is a mathematician whose research focuses on inverse problems and imaging, microlocal analysis and partial differential equations.

Dr. Uhlmann is a frequent contributor to the Claremont Review of Books, most recently with the articles, “The Supreme Court v. the Constitution of the United States of America”, and “The Right Stuff”, a panegyric of the life, writings, and talent of William F. Buckley, Jr..
In international tournaments he has achieved first places at Olomouc 1972, Leipzig 1977 (shared with Malich and Smejkal), Halle 1978 (shared with Farago and Uhlmann) and Cienfuegos 1984.
His chess career continued on a positive note for a few years to follow and he finished joint 10th (with Spassky, Uhlmann and Gheorghiu) at the prestigious Manila Interzonal of 1976, though this result was insufficient to advance to the Candidates Matches.
On 1 October SVT revealed their entry for Minsk: 13 year old Josefine Ridell was selected to represent Sweden with the song "Allt jag vill ha" (Everything I want), written by Josefine, four-time Eurovision songwriter Thomas G:son, 2009 Azeri contestant Arash, Robert Uhlmann and Johan Bejerholm.
During an interview on German chat show TV total Uhlmann said this was inspired by watching TV documentaries on nature with his mother.
