The Mohawk Valley Prowlers were a United Hockey League team which played from 1998 until January 2001 in Utica, New York.
The New Haven Knights were a professional ice hockey team and members of the United Hockey League from 2000-2002.

Cunningham spent the next two seasons playing for five different teams in the United Hockey League, playing for the Saginaw/Ohio Gears, Adirondack IceHawks, Muskegon Fury, Mohawk Valley Prowlers and the Elmira Jackals.
After seven seasons in the ECHL, Schwartz returned to the Winston-Salem area, joining the Winston-Salem IceHawks of the United Hockey League.
In the past, the arena hosted the Knoxville Speed, of the UHL, the Knoxville Cherokees, of the ECHL and the Knoxville Knights, of the EHL.
His next foray into professional ice hockey would be for the 1998/99 term, when he chose to sign for the UHL Mohawk Valley Prowlers.
