She finished law school in December 2001, earning her Juris Doctor degree by graduating a semester early having completed study abroad programs at Universidad Complutense, Madrid, Spain and at the Jagiellonian University in her native Poland.
Prof David Leslie Hawksworth CBE, mycologist and lichenologist, Research Professor since 2001 at the Universidad Complutense de Madrid (Complutense University of Madrid), President from 1986-7 of the British Lichen Society, from 1990-1 of the British Mycological Society and from 1994-7 of the International Union of Biological Sciences, and Editor from 200-8 of Mycological Research
In June 2006, she founded the spin-off firm, belonging to the Universidad Complutense de Madrid known as Alta Eficacia Tecnología S.L., the aim of which is to market products related to the Alta Eficacia Method, patents and models of use in the fileds of optometry, contactology, biometrics and neuroscience.
She also studied art history at the Universidad Complutense de Madrid, and graduated with a Master of Arts from Hartt School of Music (USA) and a Doctorate in Musical Arts from Hartford University (USA).
