After his studies, became a printer in Ungvár (today Uzhhorod, Ukraine).
Mihály Fincicky (Csepely, 22 September 1842 – Ungvár 1916) was a Hungarian lawyer, translator, collector of folk-songs and folk-poets, mayor of Ungcár.

St. John the Baptist had been constructed in 1903 and designed by the Hungarian-born architect, Titus de Bobula, who patterned it after the Rusyn Greek Catholic Cathedral of the Exaltation of the Holy Cross in Uzhhorod.
He was born in 1947 in the Transkarpathian city of Uzhhorod, and studied at the Moscow Conservatory with professors Maya Glezarova and Yuri Yankelevich.
Scientific, technical, political and science-fiction literature and text books were sent to Uzhhorod from universities in Baku, Kazan, Tbilisi as well as other towns and cities of the former Soviet Union.
