Luguvalium (or, possibly, Luguvalium Carvetiorum) was a town in the Roman province of Britannia and capital of the late Roman province of Valentia.
It flows from the southwestern Macgillicuddy Reeks above Teeromoyle and travels ten miles before flowing into Valentia Harbour.
A milestone, found in Tarragona's Plaça de Braus, mentions the highway between 12 and 6 BC, leading Barcino to the north-east and Dertosa, Saguntum and (Valentia) to the south.
