103 ISTAR-battalion has a complement of little over 800 heads and is stationed at Legerplaats bij Oldebroek and the Luitenant Kolonel Tonnet Kazerne in 't Harde in the Veluwe area of the Netherlands.
In the night of 7 to 8 March 1945 he was severely wounded by an attack staged by the Dutch resistance at "Woeste Hoeve" on the Veluwe, a little village between Arnhem and Apeldoorn.
This dialect is spoken in different villages on the west side of the Veluwe and some villages on border of Gelderland and Utrecht (Bunschoten, Scherpenzeel et cetera).
