The famous Mosfilm logo, representing the monument "Worker and Kolkhoz Woman" by Vera Mukhina and Spasskaya Tower of the Kremlin, was introduced in 1947 in the musical comedy, Spring directed by Grigori Aleksandrov and starring Lyubov Orlova and Nikolai Cherkasov.

Stalin Prize winner of 1951 in the area of Fine Arts were painter Boris Ioganson, Vasily Sokolov (for painting «Appearance of Lenin on III convention of Komsomol», Tretyakov gallery), sculptor Sergei Merkurov (for monument to Joseph Stalin in Yerevan), Kukryniksy, painter Dmitriy Nalbandyan (for painting «The Great Frendship»), sculptor Vera Mukhina (for sculpture «We demand Peace»).
Other authors on whose works copyright was restored were Anna Akhmatova (died 1966), Vera Mukhina (died 1953, sculptor of the statue "Worker and Kolkhoz Woman"), Aleksey Shchusev (died 1949, architect of the Lenin Mausoleum), Aleksey Tolstoy (died 1945), and many others.
Cubo-Futurist sculptors included Joseph Chaikov, Boris Korolev and Vera Mukhina, all of whom taught at the Soviet state art school in Moscow, Vkhutemas.
