In August 2007, the band was a headliner at Þjóðhátíð, one of Iceland's most popular music festivals, in Vestmannaeyjar, and performed before a crowd of nearly 50,000 on the main stage at the annual Menningarnótt (Reykjavik Culture Night) festival.
Ásgeir "Sigi" Sigurvinsson (born 8 May 1955 in Vestmannaeyjar) is an Icelandic football coach and a former player.
He started his career with local Vestmannaeyjar team ÍBV, and also played with Einherji from Vopnafjordur, KA from Akureyri, ÍA and Fram in the Icelandic league before moving to Norway with SK Brann in 1996, where he is still considered as a hero, after his efforts in the cup winner's cup in 1997, where SK Brann reached the quarter finals.
Guðmundur "Gunni" Torfason (born 13 December 1961 in Vestmannaeyjar) is a retired Icelandic footballer.
He began a career as a teacher at a primary school in the Vestmannaeyjar in winter 1926–27, taught evening school himself in Reykjavík in 1927–28, taught at the Commercial College of Iceland in 1928–29, and then taught at Reykvíking Middle School from 1928 until 1945, when he became headmaster.
From 1996 until 2007 he played lower league football with another club from Vestmannaeyjar, from 1996 to 1997 he played with Smástund and from 1998 with KFS, the merged team of Smástund and another lower league team from Vestmannaeyjar called Framherjar.

Heimir Hallgrímsson (born 10 June 1967 in Vestmannaeyjar, Iceland) is an Icelandic football manager and former player, currently managing Iceland jointly with Lars Lagerbäck, having previously been his assistant manager with Iceland.
