The first prize winner of several competitions with the instruments of clarinet, piano and cello, Ottensamer has performed as soloist and chamber musician worldwide with partners such as the Vienna Virtuosi (members of the Vienna Philharmonic), the Vienna Chamber Orchestra and performers including Leif Ove Andsnes, Angelika Kirchschlager, Julian Rachlin and Yo-Yo Ma.
Wass has performed as a soloist with numerous leading ensembles, including all of the BBC orchestras, the Philharmonia, Orchestre National de Lille, Vienna Chamber Orchestra, Hong Kong Philharmonic, RLPO, and under the baton of conductors such as Simon Rattle, Osmo Vanska, Donald Runnicles, Ilan Volkov and Vassily Sinaisky.
As a trombonist, he has performed in concert with the Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra, the Vienna Symphony Orchestra, the Saint Petersburg Philharmonic Orchestra, the Vienna Radio Symphony Orchestra, the Vienna Volksoper, the Vienna Chamber Orchestra, the Klangforum Wien, the Camerata Academica Salzburg, the Wiener Taschenoper, the Janus Ensemble, Mund.Art, the Burgtheater, and bands such as the Vienna Art Orchestra, Max Nagel and the Alegre Correa Group.
