unusual facts about Villa Jeanneret

Villa Jeanneret-Perret

The Villa Jeanneret-Perret is a witness to the pioneering architecture of the 20th century and the development of Le Corbusier; his characteristic neo-classic style breaks with the regional Art Nouveau and is based on his experience in Paris as a student of Auguste Perret and in Berlin with Peter Behrens.

Fondation Le Corbusier

It now owns Villa La Roche and Villa Jeanneret (which form the foundation's headquarters), as well as the apartment occupied by Le Corbusier from 1933 to 1965 at rue Nungesser et Coli in Paris 16e, and the "Small House" he built for his parents in Corseaux on the shores of Lac Leman (1924).
