La Internacional Sonora Balkanera is a Mexican electronic music, rock, world beat and balkan beat band that became known in 2011 after playing in big music events such as Glastonbury Festival, Vive Latino and Cumbre Tajín.
Tha band has released a new album entitled Haciendo Tiempo (Doing Time) and played live for the first time at the famous Vive Latino Festival in 2013.
To promote the album, Julieta Venegas begins with her "Otra Cosa Tour" in several cities in Mexico and the United States like the presentation at the Vive Latino of México City.

They played festivals such as: Musica por la Tierra, Vive Latino, El Tortazo Festival (Bogota Colombia) and Slam Fest and have palyed with bands like: Maná, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Jaguares, El Tri, Molotov, Maldita Vecindad, Jumbo, Kinky and more.
