Bert Kruismans started his career as an editor and presenter on Studio Brussel, after which he moved to other Flemish radio stations like Radio Donna and the BRT-night radio.
Among the locations they visited and that have been used as inspiration for the movie were the Magere Brug, Amstel River, Kinderdijk, and Brussels, the city of Vlaamse Radio- en Televisieomroeporganisatie and Radio-Télévision belge de la Communauté française.
Special numbers are reserved for the EU institutions, NATO headquarters, public and commercial broadcasters (RTBF, RTL TVi, VRT and VTM), the different parliaments and other public institutions.
The show is also broadcast on Swedish commercial channel Sjuan, in the Netherlands by public broadcaster KRO, Belgium on VRT channel Canvas and in Finland on the Finnish Broadcasting Company Yle using the name "Hiljainen todistaja", which is a direct translation of the original title.
