Lyalintsi

It is derived from the personal name Lyalya, "aunt", the nickname lyalya or lala, itself from Proto-Slavic *l'al'a, "babbler, fool" or from the personal name Lyala, an affectionate form of Vlado (Vladimir, Vladislav).


Nikita Koshkin

Koshkin's most celebrated guitar work is "Usher-Waltz." a piece inspired by the Edgar Allan Poe story The Fall of the House of Usher, in which Poe wrote, "I listened, as if in a dream, to the wild improvisations of his speaking guitar." Koshkin's piece was written for the famed guitarist Vladislav Blaha.

SC Vladislav Varna

On 21 May 1921 the club had changed its name to Sport Club Vladislav in honour of the Polish & Hungary king Władysław III, who was killed in the Battle of Varna in 1444.

Stephen Constantine of Serbia

Some chronicles have recorded stories of his alleged brutal execution, Pseudobrokar states that Stephen Uroš III ordered him nailed to a tree, after which he was cut in half, while Mavro Orbin said that his was done by Vladislav, who had captured him.
