Roy Marlin Voris (1919–2005), American aviator and World War II flying ace

In 2011 Voris was inducted into the Knighthood of the Royal Order of St. Michael of the Wing, by the Royal House of Portugal.

After being a guest speaker at several Roman Catholic parishes in Detroit and serving as a host on Michigan Catholic Radio network, in 2006 Voris started the digital television studio St. Michael’s Media in Ferndale, Michigan.
In the Summer of 1947, Voris was attached to the Naval Bureau of Aeronautics in Washington, D.C. (where he spent the next two years); he also married his high school sweetheart, Thea.

Upon his retirement from the Navy, Captain Voris went to work for the Grumman Corporation in Bethpage, New York, assisting in the development of the Navy's F-14 Tomcat and NASA's Lunar Module.
Cutler was married in 1849 to Elizabeth W. Voris of Warren Township, Washington County, Ohio.
