Voth learned the Arapaho language and customs at Darlington, Indian Territory, near Fort Reno, where he worked from June, 1882 to January, 1892.
Voth's modeling career has included photo shoots and commercials for brands such as Calvin Klein and Shiseido.
Toews has said that Irma Voth was inspired in part by her own experience as lead actress on the film set of Silent Light, the 2007 film written and directed by Mexican filmmaker, Carlos Reygadas.
