Lawrence Waya (born 25 May 1963, in Mphonde, Nyasaland) is a former Malawi international football player and manager.
After the 2010 World Series in Liverpool, Waya again announced her retirement from international netball, along with Queens veterans Peace Chawinga-Kalua and Esther Nkhoma.
Early inhabitants of Vatanitawake were from Waya and settled in Yakani and then Yawalevu.
