3 unusual facts about WOKY

Music! Music! Music!

Only the original London release was a chart hit, although, the 1973 version was a regional hit in some markets, including Milwaukee (it charted on Top 40 station WOKY's survey).

WOKY

As part of the deal, the station will air all Badgers sports broadcasts, with football and men's basketball being simulcast with sister station WRIT-FM and the Badger Daily Show segment being shared with WISN.

To keep up with demographic trends, WOKY tweaked their format over the years, gradually shifting to a middle of the road/oldies hybrid that mixed uptempo 1950s-1970s oldies with classic and current adult contemporary music, with artists such as Frank Sinatra, Neil Diamond and The Carpenters being mainstays of the format.
