Hilly is the Executive Producer of the annual Americana Honors & Awards show at the Historic Ryman Auditorium, which is broadcast around the world on PBS and AXS TV along with BBC2 Radio, XM/Sirius Satellite Radio, WSM, Voice of America and NPR.org.
The National Life and Accident Insurance Company, owners of WSM, became the first commercial broadcaster in the U.S. to receive an FM license from the Federal Communications Commission in 1941.

Amos and Gale Binkley were born in Cheatham County, Tennessee, and were working as jewelry repairmen when they started playing for WSM in 1926.
The song debuted on Live Radio WSM 650 Midnight Jamboree by Country Music Artist Bobby G. Rice on The Legend CD.
In 1976, she moved to WSM-TV in Nashville, where she was instrumental in the investigative reporting that ultimately led to the ouster and indictment of then-Tennessee Governor Ray Blanton.
In the WSM 2007 competition, Pudzianowski said that his target was to become the only person to win the event five times, which he did by winning the 2008 World's Strongest Man in the very last event, ahead of Derek Poundstone.
The same paper subsequently made a personal charge at another WSM member, calling her an 'unreconstructed' "left-wing die-hard…" who "regularly contributes to anarchist and feminist websites and magazines" after she had appeared on The Late Late Show.
As with its two international counterparts it attracted the top quality strength athletes of its era, which included every winner of the World's Strongest Man competition from 1980 onwards including Jon Pall Sigmarsson, Geoff Capes and Bill Kazmaier from the 1980s right up to the current WSM champion Žydrūnas Savickas.
