A petition has also been lodged against the result in the Waddon ward in the London Borough of Croydon at the local elections held on 6 May 2010.
In 2002, Labour once again won all three seats, albeit with one of them scraping home with a majority of eight votes, the only Labour ward in the seat of Richard Ottaway MP, Croydon South.
The River Wandle is also a major tributary of the River Thames, where it stretches to Wandsworth and Putney for 9 miles (14 km) from its main source in Waddon.
