They currently (as of 2010) consist of the Northwestern Cycleway, which was created along the Northwestern Motorway between the Auckland CBD and Lincoln in Waitakere City (with some on-road sections on the way) and the Waikaraka Cycleway, from Wesley, Auckland City to Southdown, most of it along State Highway 20 through southern Auckland City, before continuing along Mangere Harbour to the east.
In January 2006, the Guardian Angels opened its New Zealand Headquarters in Henderson, a suburb of Waitakere City west of Auckland, New Zealand's fifth-largest and largest cities respectively (to be amalgamated with others into a "super-city" in 2010).
The city currently has a sister city relationship with Maringá, in Brazil, and Waitakere City, in New Zealand.
The Mayor of Waitakere was the head of the former municipal government of Waitakere City, New Zealand, and presided over the Waitakere City Council.
Rosebank (or the Rosebank Peninsula) is a peninsula and industrial suburb of Auckland City, New Zealand, forming the westernmost part of the city at the edge to Waitakere City, and jutting out into the Waitemata Harbour.
As a health promoter for 'Waiora Healthcare PHO' in West Auckland, she is active in efforts to address addiction to drugs and alcohol in New Zealand, and supports the organization 'Be Free'.
The main campus is situated in Mt Albert, Auckland City, while a secondary campus is situated in Henderson, Waitakere City, and a third campus in Albany, North Shore City which opened in August 2011.

As well as the current Papakura District, other territorial authorities such as North Shore City, Rodney District, Waitakere City, Auckland City, Manukau City, and the Franklin District will be abolished and the entire area will be dissolved into a single Auckland city council.
