When "Diamond" Ed Barnaby (an uncredited Walter Baldwin) is paroled, he sets out to give $100,000 worth of diamonds to his daughter, Betty (Ann Savage).
He was first seen in episode #12, "Stranger in Town," where he was played by actor Walter Baldwin.
He originated the role of Bensinger, the prissy Chicago Tribune reporter, in the Broadway production of The Front Page.
