Bolton Sailing Club (Bolton SC or BSC) is an inland sailing club located close to the village of Belmont in Lancashire to the north of Bolton, Greater Manchester in the West Pennine Moors.
The South Pennines National Character Area defined by Natural England includes the West Pennine Moors and is a landscape of broad moorland, flat-topped hills and fields enclosed by dry stone walls.
The Group moved into the energy sector in 2008 with the opening of Scout Moor Wind Farm on the West Pennine Moors in Greater Manchester nearby Edenfield and Rochdale.
