West Potomac High School (formerly Groveton High School) — Alexandria, Virginia
Groveton High School, which served the community since 1959, was renamed in the mid-1980s as West Potomac High School, which also serves Fort Hunt.
Later, while attending West Potomac High School, Howard befriended Werden who had recently moved to Alexandria from Detroit.
