New Zealand National Airways Corporation Flight 441 (NZ441) was a scheduled flight of New Zealand's National Airways Corporation from Whenuapai, Auckland to Tauranga.
The No Commercial Airport at Whenuapai Airbase Party was a local political party in New Zealand which opposed the transformation of Auckland's Whenuapai airbase into a commercial airport.
The squadron was formed at Whenuapai on 1 June 1943 as No. 40 Transport Squadron RNZAF.
He later held flying posts on No. 41 Squadron based in Singapore and No. 40 Squadron based at RNZAF Base Auckland at Whenuapai.
The expense of the steel centering was spread across four hangars, as another two similar structures were ordered for Whenuapai air base in Auckland.
