During the 1970s Holden was the frontman for the Australian retro-rock band Ol' 55, which also included Wilbur Wilde and Jimmy Manzie.

Wilbur Wilde

Wilde is a supporter of the Melbourne Football Club (his brother, Chris, having played for them in the 1970s) in the Australian Football League.

He has made numerous other TV appearances throughout his career on shows including The Flying Doctors, MDA, The Paul Hogan Show, Blankety Blanks, Sale of the Century, Celebrity Squares, MTV, Getaway, Postcards, Spicks and Specks and The Russell Gilbert Show.

In 2006 Wilde represented Hey Hey It's Saturday alongside John Blackman for a celebrity tournament on Temptation and appeared on commercials for the Australian Pensioners Insurance Agency.
