The traditional leader was the late Turaga na Gonesau, Ratu Dr Wilisoni Tuiketei Malani, younger brother of also the late Ratu Meli Kuliniasi Salabogi, the previous titleholder, both from the chiefly village of Nabukadra in the district of Kavula.
