The headquarters was located at Dortmund and from July 1940 in Wissant, from June 1941 at Le Touquet, and from September 1943 in Stade.
Itius Portus or Portus Itius was also the name of a Morini port city, generally considered to be either Wissant or Boulogne.
He built a monastery at Estrouanne, near the English channel port of Wissant, destroyed and burnt by Gormond and Isembart.
