Holland worked as an executive producer for Malcolm in the Middle, and co-created Wonderfalls with Bryan Fuller - for which they received a WGA nomination (the only cancelled series to be so honored that year).

Grant played the same character, Marianne Marie Beetle, in the short-lived show Wonderfalls and Pushing Daisies, both created by Bryan Fuller, and portrays the similarly named "Marie" in Mockingbird Lane, Fuller's re-imagining of The Munsters.
In 2004, Scarwid landed a contract role in the acclaimed Fox television series Wonderfalls.
He has since directed episodes of The Secret World of Alex Mack, Strangers with Candy, Dead Like Me, Arrested Development, Malcolm in the Middle, Chuck, Scrubs, Wonderfalls, Remember WENN, Sons of Tucson, and the Nickelodeon film Cry Baby Lane among other series.
