World U-17 Hockey Challenge

The World U-17 Hockey Challenge, originally known as the Quebec Esso Cup, is an international ice hockey tournament held annually in Canada.


2004 World U-17 Hockey Challenge

The two main venues were the Mile One Stadium in St. John's and the Glacier Arena in Mount Pearl, while the S. W. Moores Arena in Harbour Grace and the Whitbourne Arena were also used for exhibition games.

Carey Price

Internationally, Price has represented Canada at various tournaments at junior levels, winning silver medals at the World U-17 Hockey Challenge in 2004 and the IIHF World U18 Championship in 2005.

McIntyre Community Building

The McIntyre Arena was the main venue for the 2010 World U-17 Hockey Challenge held between December 29, 2009 and January 4, 2010.
