Ryan Friedrich (born July 14, 1980 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, United States), better known by his moniker Xanopticon, is an electronic musician.
Festival appearances include Bloomington, Indiana's BodyHammer Festival where he appeared alongside such artists as Enduser, Slave Cylinder and Monstrum Sepsis and the Detroit Electronic Music Festival, now Movement Festival, on the Eclectic Productions stage, where he appeared alongside such artists as Iszoloscope, Xanopticon, Phallus Über Alles, Chiasm, Cdatakill and many others.
This same year, Phallus Über Alles performed at the Detroit Electronic Music Festival (abbreviated DEMF, now the Movement Festival) along with such acts as Cdatakill, Iszoloscope, Larvae, and Xanopticon.
The group has garnered notable success with the release of their 2006 album Beyond Repair, and its 2007 remix album Nboyde Rarepi (which included remixes from Xanopticon, Iszoloscope, and others), both released through Hive Records, and most recently, their 2009 release Plague Called Humanity.
