Yaad is a hit Indian pop album by Sonu Niigaam, then credited as Sonu Nigam, released on 5 February 2001, almost a year after his previous album Jaan.
The nusic was by the composer Ravi and the lyrics were authored by Shakeel Badayuni, with memorable tracks such as Bhari Duniya Mein Akhir Dil, Naseeb Main Jisko Jo by Mohammad Rafi and " Lo aa gayi unki yaad" by Lata Mangeshkar.
and for the Song "Aap ki Yaad Aati Rahi" Chhaya Ganguly won an National Film Award for Best Female Playback Singer.
Another major hit in her career was the song "Kabhi Tanhaiyon Mein Yun" for composer Snehal Bhatkar in Kidar Sharma's film Hamaari Yaad Aayegi which is, till this day, regarded as a classic rendition.
He continued working as a playback singer, making some on-screen appearances in films such as Saajan, Yeh Dillagi, and Phir Teri Kahaani Yaad Aayee.
