Sunyata met many prominent spiritual teachers in addition to Ramana Maharshi, including Anandamayee Ma, Yashoda Ma (Mirtola), Swami Ramdas and Neem Karoli Baba.
Yashoda was the daughter of the Havishmanas was the wife of Vishvamahat and mother of Dilipa.
As his life was in danger he was smuggled out to be raised by his foster parents Yashoda and Nanda in the village of Gokula.
Upon witnessing this act a couplet broke forth Sage Narada "Enna Thavam Saidhanai, Yashoda" which in Tamil literally means: "What penance have You (Mother Yashoda) undertaken to be bestowed with the powers to punish the supreme (Narayana)".
