A sequel entitled You Changed My Life was released on February 25, 2009 and a second sequel entitled It Takes a Man and a Woman which was released on March 30, 2013.
The film follows the life of Miggy (John Lloyd Cruz) and Laida (Sarah Geronimo) after their break-up which occurred after the events in the second film.
Sukob is considered as the highest-grossing Filipino film of all-time earning PHP 186 million until in 2009 when it was surpassed by You Changed My Life in box office.
The movie once held the highest grossing Filipino film of all time title until it was surpassed by "No Other Woman", "The Unkabogable Praybeyt Benjamin" and "Sisterakas" respectively.
