In late 2007, ZTV started to broadcast various anime-series such as Berserk, Black Lagoon, Ergo Proxy, Fullmetal Alchemist, Gungrave, Naruto, Ninja Scroll, Paranoia Agent and Samurai Champloo.

ZTV began broadcasting on their own channel position in 1992 and was owned by MTG, who also owned TV3 (Sweden) and TV6 (Sweden).

TV3 merged its programming with ZTV and TV8, airing Efterlyst (a program similar to America's Most Wanted) for people to send information directly to the police to help find the murderer.
His nickname comes from his role as Mukadota Baba VaRwizi on The Mukadota Family, a Shona TV drama which ran on Zimbabwe Broadcasting Television ZTV in the 1980s and early 1990s.
