Their name is derived from their original five members (Zax Wang, Jason Hsu, Sam Wang, Rio Peng and band leader Tony Sun), working in six entertainment fields (singing, movies and dramas, hosting, modelling, commercials, and dancing).
Plus, other stories include "Tadd and Todd", "The Ruckus", "The Very Bad Bunny", "Scrambled Eggs Super!", "The Zax", "Don and Donna Go to Bat", "Tubby and the Lantern" and "Robert the Rose Horse".
The first two stories in the book ("The Sneetches" and "The Zax") were later adapted, along with Green Eggs and Ham, into 1973's animated TV musical special Dr. Seuss on the Loose: The Sneetches, The Zax, Green Eggs and Ham with Hans Conried voicing both Zaxes and Paul Winchell and Bob Holt voicing the Sneetches and Sylvester McMonkey McBean by Bob Holt.
