Klug was born in Želva, Lithuania to Jewish parents Lazar, a cattleman, and Bella (née Silin) Klug with whom he moved to South Africa at the age of two.
It is mostly attributed to a spelling variation of the shtetl, Pazelva near Želva in Lithuania, located at 55°13' / 25°06'.
At present moment the movement “Young Belarus” is represented in the following cities of Belarus: Minsk, Magileu, Zhodzina, Horadnia, Polatsak, Navapolatsak, Vitsebsk, Smaliavichy, Masty, Zelva, Ushachy, Shchuchyn, Navahradak, Vaukavysk, Homel, Vorsha, Brest etc.
