Zhané kept busy during 1995-1996 with spots on tracks by Busta Rhymes and De La Soul as well as new songs of their own on the NFL Jams and NBA 50th Anniversary compilations and the soundtracks to Higher Learning and A Low Down Dirty Shame — the latter, "Shame," became their fourth Top 40 hit.
Their debut album, Kids from Foreign, was released in 1994 on the hip hop label Delicious Vinyl, and following its success the group toured with Buju Banton, Shabba Ranks, Zhane, and Shai, and toured Japan with Shinehead and Mad Lion.
His second album, Love Conquers All, included the song, Looking Up To You, that was sampled by the 1990s R&B group Zhané on their hit song, Hey Mr. D.J. in 1993.
His musical diversity and mainstream popularity led to a series of collaborations with artists such as Treach of Naughty by Nature, Kele Le Roc, Renee from Zhane, NEXT, British icons Groove Armada and his cousin, Canadian hip-hop artist, Dan-e-o.
