In 1963, Walt came to Alice with a rather novel assignment - assisting artist Mary Blair in designing the costumes for the Audio-Animatronic children of Walt's 1964/1965 New York World's Fair attraction "it's a small world".
A cover of the song was also performed by "Munch's Make Believe Band," the animatronic show located at Chuck E. Cheese's restaurants.
As the tram rounded a corner, it drove out onto the Brooklyn Bridge, putting guests at eye-level with the giant animatronic ape.
For the buffalo scenes, producer Laurentiis hired on Carlo Rambaldi to design an animatronic full-size bison which would slide around on tracks.
It includes steep downward spirals, sudden drop offs, and various dinosaurs, including an animatronic T. rex encounter at the end of the ride.
