She was married at the age of twelve to Charles d'Angennes, vidame du Mans, and afterwards marquis de Rambouillet.

Occasionally, in spring and summer, the marquis and marquise de Rambouillet would entertain the habitués of their Parisian residence in the château de Rambouillet.
He was buried in the family crypt in 13th-century Saint-Lubin church of the village of Rambouillet near the Château de Rambouillet, his father's favorite residence.
Buried at the chapel at the Château de Rambouillet, he was later moved by his posthumous sister Louise Marie Adélaïde de Bourbon (wife of the future Philippe Égalité) to the Chapelle royale de Dreux.
While fulfilling commissions in Paris, for the Church of Sainte-Geneviève (now the Panthéon, Paris), or at the Pavillon de Flore of the Louvre, he sculpted in 1785 a virtuoso marble ensemble of the nymph Amalthea and the goat that nurtured Jupiter for the Queen's fastidiously-appointed Dairy (La Laiterie) at the Château de Rambouillet; for his model, he adapted the pose of the famous Capitoline Venus.
