Aveda Corporation is a company headquartered in the Minneapolis suburb of Blaine, Minnesota, that manufactures skin care, cosmetics, perfume, hair care products, and trains students in cosmetology and esthiology at the Aveda Institutes in Minneapolis, New York City, Washington, DC, Vancouver, Calgary, Orlando, Toronto and many other cities.
The school now offers a full range of high school programs, from welding, woodworking and firearm safety to cosmetology, food studies and computers (both Macintosh and IBM).

With the cooperation of the Wilkes-Barre Area Vocational-Technical School (WBAVTS), the district offers vocational training in building trades, power mechanics, food service, cosmetology and data processing.
Until September 2012 the college provided courses covering hairdressing (in collaboration with Wella), beauty therapy, nail care services and holistic therapy.
