During the Mahabharata period when Lord Krishna was coming to join the battle his army halted at this place and found themselves in great danger as there was no water and the army started dehydrating but Lord Krishna came to their rescue.
After the war he partnered with his six brothers (the Beermann Brothers) in farming, alfalfa dehydrating and cattle raising in Dakota County, Nebraska.
