Vadfoss

The river beside Vadfoss has no clear name due to the fact that it changes names several times along its length, but it is often referred to as the Kragerø watershed estuary or sometimes the Kragerø River (see the Gallery section for a graphical representation of its many names).


Amendeuix-Oneix

Located in the watershed of the Adour, the northern part of the eastern border of the commune is the Bidouze which flows north to join the Adour west of Peyrehorade.

Cimon della Pala

The mountain lies near the town of Tonadico in Trentino, the southern part of the Trentino-Alto Adige/Südtirol, and is the watershed between the Cismón valley and the Travignolo valley.

Dōshi, Yamanashi

From 1897, the Dōshigawa River, which runs through the village, was designated as a primary source of water for the growing city of Yokohama, and from 1916 a large portion of the village land area was designated as a protected watershed.

U.S. Route 209 climbs up inside the V-shaped gully of the westernmost of these from the beginning terminus junction with PA-54 within downtown Nesquehoning up over the ridge to the headwaters region of the Panther Creek Valley across the Nesquehoning Ridge drainage divide into the valley formed with Pisgah Ridge.

Rusper

It is on the watershed between the River Arun to the west and the River Mole to the east, with predominantly weald clay soils.

Seuil du Poitou

Situated to the south of Poitiers, the area is the drainage divide between the Loire, Charente and Sèvre basins and a border between different climatic zones

Sikhote-Alin Nature Reserve

The Sikhote-Alin Nature Reserve is located in a watershed on the eastern slopes of Central Sikhote-Alin in the Terneysky and Krasnoarmeysky Districts and the area of Dalnegorsk City Council.

Tabayama, Yamanashi

Most of the land in the village has been protected watershed, providing water for the Tokyo Metropolis since 1901, under the control of Tokyo Metropolitan Government Bureau of Waterworks.
