Carl Holzmann (22 February 1849, Šitbořice – 14 September 1914, Baden bei Wien) was an Austrian architect who designed several apartment buildings in the centre of Vienna, mostly in the Historicist style.
His first projects of this time (including a project for a rebuilding of the house of the Blackheads), which were not executed, were historicist in style, drawing much inspiration from German Renaissance architecture.
Wight's career "flourished in the 1860s and 1870s in New York, where he developed a decorative, historicist style that showed affinities to the work of European designers John Ruskin and Augustus Welby Northmore Pugin."
Ralph Emerson Twitchell, who went by Ralph E. Twitchell, (1859–1925) was an American historicist, mayor of Santa Fe, New Mexico, and chairman of the Rio Grande Commission, which drafted a treaty between the United States and Mexico leading to the building of the Elephant Butte Dam in his state.
He designed numerous buildings in the historicist tradition, often employing Zsolnay tiles to rich effect.
