Howdy Mr. Ice was one of a series of ice shows at the Center Theatre in Rockefeller Center, New York City that was produced by Sonja Henie and Arthur M. Wirtz in the 1940s.
He was also involved with the Henie-produced ice shows which played the Center Theatre at Rockefeller Center in New York for several seasons.
Other events hosted in the facility include concerts, trade shows, conventions, ice shows and various other sporting events, including professional wrestling, MMA, and the Treasure Valley Rollergirls roller derby squad.
He serves as Vice President of creative development for Disney on Ice, having arranged all the music for the Disney on Ice shows, which he also writes and directs.
The arena is also used for conventions, circuses, ice shows, trade shows, and banquets, among other events.The arena has hosted many major headlining musicians throughout the years such as KISS, Aerosmith, Ted Nugent, Van Halen, Bon Jovi, Rush, Ozzy Osbourne, Ratt, Johnny Cash.
Navka has also partnered with Russian celebrities to compete in Channel One Russia ice shows: Stars On Ice, which she won with actor Marat Basharov, and Ice Age, in which she was runner-up with actor Ville Haapasalo.
