EnCap, a proposal to build golf courses and homes on remediated landfills in the New Jersey Meadowlands
Geotextiles are used for drainage to either convey or allow water penetration and to prevent the mixing of two different materials; geomembranes are used to contain liquids in ponds or wastes in landfills; geogrids and geocells are used for load support and to increase the bearing capacity of weak soils; and geocells as well as a variety of turf reinforcement mats (TRM) and erosion control blankets (ECB) are used for slope and channel protection and erosion control.
Transport of waste from transfer stations to landfills are contracted out to Republic Services Canada Incorporated of Dundas, Ontario and Wilson Logistics Incorporated of Toronto.
The company's Solid Waste and Recycling services include: general waste and recycling, bins, skips and compactors, all types of commercial waste, medical waste, organic waste, construction and demolition waste, as well as post collection facilities including material recovery facilities, landfills and transfer stations.
