Mangold was a participant in The Biggest Loser: Second Chances 2, the 15th season of the TV series, The Biggest Loser and was then eliminated after only 7 episodes of the season.
Artists that followed his lead and laid the groundwork for this new art form were Augusto Giacometti, Otto Morach, Carl Moos, Burkhard Mangold, Walther Koch and Otto Baumberger.
Max Mangold (born May 8, 1922 in the village of Pratteln near Basel, Switzerland) taught phonetics, phonology and linguistic theory at the University of the Saarland in Germany.
Mangold began his aviation career in 1974 as a skydiver while attending the United States Air Force Academy.
The parish is described as partly upland and partly fen, on which chief crops grown were wheat, oats, barley, turnips and mangolds.

Between 2004 and 2008 Mangold helped Mayfield, Kentucky resident Susan Galbreath investigate and solve the case of the murder of Jessica Currin which had occurred in 2000 but remained unsolved until 2008.
