Joseph Hamilton Lambert (1825 – 1909), American orchardist and developer of the Lambert cherry
Ruth Woolf Jordan (November 7, 1902 – January 7, 1996) was a schoolteacher from Sedona, Arizona who developed the Jordan Historical Park and the Sedona Heritage Museum with her husband, orchardist Walter Jordan.
Later, he was extensively engaged as an orchardist at Wawawai on the Snake River, having purchased some 375 ac from his father-in-law, John Tabor (one of the founders of Whitman County) who had been among the first settlers to bring apples to the region.
